Michael Norcia’s journey with Nutrishop dates back to its earliest days. In 2003, he was literally driving to founder Bryon McLendon’s house to pick up products to sell before the two opened Nutrishop’s first retail location in Norco, California. Michael also warehoused and shipped products to stores as the company began to grow. After selling the Norco location in 2006, Michael returned in 2010, helping rebuild the Lake Forest store before becoming a Franchise Coach and liaison between Nutrishop’s graphics team and franchisees. He later became a franchisee himself, building successful stores and becoming one of Nutrishop’s top-performing operators nationwide. While proud of those accomplishments, Michael considers the countless lives he has helped impact and transform his greatest measure of success. His philosophy has always been simple: genuinely care about people. He brings that same approach to coaching franchisees today—building friendships, encouraging owners, and kindly challenging them in the areas that can make their businesses stronger. Outside of Nutrishop, Michael’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife and family, including his six children, daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. His faith is central to his life, and he enjoys sharing it with others and watching his daughter Sophia play volleyball. After more than two decades with Nutrishop, what continues to motivate Michael is the same thing that always has: pouring into people’s lives and helping make them better.
