We will give you the option, free of charge, to work directly with our commercial real estate broker, who will utilize U.S. Census Data, consumer profiles and demographic research to assist you in your search. This critical data, coupled with key factors such as location size, visibility, traffic counts, anchor tenancy, co-tenancy, rental rates, lease terms and competition variables, will allow you to make an educated decision regarding your site selection.

What is the average size of a NUTRISHOP® retail store?

The average store size is approximately 1,200 square feet. However, we can accommodate just about any size location.

What is the initial investment for a NUTRISHOP® retail store and what do i need financially to qualify?

Example: The estimated initial investment for a 1,100 square foot NUTRISHOP® store within the area of West Covina, California ranges from approximately $112,000 – $207,795. This range includes a one-time initial fee, three months’ rent, lease, utility and security deposits, design and architectural fees, leasehold improvements, furniture and fixtures, signage, a computer system, professional fees, equipment, business licenses and permits, initial inventory (ranging from $50,000 - $60,000 worth), the costs of attending orientation training, insurance, a franchisee website development fee, miscellaneous operating costs and other initial start-up expenses. The initial investment for a new NUTRISHOP® store will vary based on factors such as the location of your NUTRISHOP® store, specific cost structure and current relevant market conditions, how well you follow our methods and procedures, your management skills, your business experience and capabilities, local economic conditions, the local market for our products and services, the prevailing wage rates, competition, and sales levels and the rate of sales growth that you are able to achieve during your initial phase of business operations and thereafter. Do I receive a protected territory?

Yes. A NUTRISHOP® store franchisee receives a protected territory equal to the lesser of: (i) a 10-mile radius from the store’s location or (ii) an area surrounding the store’s location that encompasses an estimated population of 400,000 residents. If the NUTRISHOP® store is located within a commercial facility, such as a gym or health club, then the protected territory equals the commercial facility in which the NUTRISHOP® store is located and a one-mile radius from the commercial facility’s location.

Do you assist with the build-out and setup of my NUTRISHOP® store?

Yes. Our experts will guide you through the entire process of building out and setting up your Nutrishop store. Once your location has been selected and approved, we will set up a timeline of events that will end with the actual grand opening of your Nutrishop store. Rest assured, your hand will be held through this entire process.

If I already own a retail nutrition store, would it be possible to convert it to a NUTRISHOP® store?

Yes. Please complete and submit the online application and be sure to note on the application the name of your existing nutrition store, along with the city and state the store is located in. A representative will be in contact with you to discuss the details of this opportunity.

Do you offer an initial training program?

Yes. We offer an extensive, 2-week orientation training program for 2 attendees free of charge. This program will cover everything you need to know in order to properly operate a NUTRISHOP® store.

Do you offer ongoing training and support?

Yes. In addition to the 2-week orientation training program, we may offer continuing education programs on matters related to the operation or promotion of your NUTRISHOP® store and will make our personnel available to you for ongoing consultation. In fact, prior to your NUTRISHOP® store opening, you will be assigned a team leader who will be your primary contact and will be responsible for assisting you in the ongoing operations of your NUTRISHOP® store.

Do you offer marketing assistance?

1) Submit Application

2) Phone Consultation

You are primarily responsible for making the final selection for a site for your store, but we would be happy to help in the site selection process and will ultimately approve sites that meet our general guidelines for NUTRISHOP® stores. Throughout this process, you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with our commercial real estate broker at no cost to you. He will work on your behalf to help you find the best location possible utilizing his expertise as well as U.S. Census Data, consumer profiles, and demographic research to help you in your search. This critical data, coupled with key factors such as location size, visibility, traffic counts, anchor tenancy, co-tenancy, rental rates, lease terms and competition variables, will allow you to make an educated decision regarding your site selection.

8) Store Owner Training

We want to see you hit the ground running! That’s why we require and provide an extensive, 2-week orientation training program for two attendees free of charge. This program will cover everything you need to know in order to properly operate a NUTRISHOP® store. Beyond that, we offer continuing education programs and training on matters related to the successful operation of your NUTRISHOP® store and will make our team available to you for ongoing consultation.

9) Store Buildout

Once your location has been selected and approved, we will set up a timeline of events that will end with the grand opening of your NUTRISHOP® store. Our experts will guide you through the entire process of building out and setting up your NUTRISHOP® store which will include a digital rendering of your store.
